    Razors

I've always used an electric shaver so this may be a silly question, but I don't know the answer Last week I decided to try a normal razor so I bought a Wilkinson Sword Xtreme 3, and i'm just wondering how often you are supposed to change the razor.

    Cheers!

Excellent choice with the Xtreme3, I've been using them for about 2 years now.

I usually change blades every session - that's head and chin. However, I only tend to shave once every two weeks and I clipper all of my hair down to about 2mm before shaving.

For just your face, 3-5 uses per blade perhaps? Depending on the density of your growth, that is.

If you're a bit more of a cheapskate, and don't have a severe case of the shakes, they can probably do 10 uses without causing major arterial bleeding.

I use electric and a normal razor about the same (wet shave for when it's a bit too long for the electric, which becomes more of a plucker than a razor when i've got a bit of stubble, Maybe I've just got a crap 'leccy razor)
They told me I was gullible ... and I believed them.

    Yep, about two months later

Except I think it's a 'quattro 4 turbo' or something equally macho and technical.

I use the Mach 3 Turbo.

On the razor there's a little green strip, which is kinda of slimey.
It's to lube your skin or something, anyways it gives you a better shave i think.
It wears out after about 3 or 4 shaves tops, which is when i change my blades.

I shave daily, and only change blades every few weeks. They last quite well. You can tell they are not quite as sharp, but are still just as effective at cutting.

Same here Fabula, I change mine (Mach 3) when the blue strip of stuff on the razor hear diminishes enough so there is a full vertical area without blue.

I only shave once a week when a full on beard is emerging as freshly shaved I look about 12 When my face starts bleeding though that is when it is time to change blades, so for me once a month or more!!!

I cant help being a cheapskate!
