Hmm i wanted to put some films i have onto a 2gb SD card for a veeery long coach journey, so i pondered..

If you had to pick 5 of your all time best films.. what would they be?

(i know this sort of thing has been done before.. but meh)

It has been done before, many many times. But for old times sake:

Goodfellas, Aliens, L.A Confidential, Layer Cake, Saving Private Ryan.

Difficult to say, as it will depend on mood etc.

Andway, here's a few that I can think of at the moment:

Lawrence of Arabia: Fantastic shots and is content to let scenes take the time needed: It doesn't cut to different angles 3 times a second. Intersting plot, great acting, and it is (almost) real!

Fight Club: Very fun and bears up to repeated viewings. Makes you think a lot, and isn't anywhere near as violent as some people have suggested.

Watership Down: Interesting movie for children. Stands out as the animal behavior is fantastically well observed, and they are not overly anthropomorphised as is common in more recent movies. Dark issues presented well.

Godfather part 2: Superb acting supporting the weighty plot. A worthy insight into how pressures can act on a person.

Pulp Fiction: Just constructed in an entertaining way. Interesting and convoluted plot with suprises all over the palce.

There's not that many films I can watch that many times, but the ones that could probably take the most repeat viewing:

Brazil, The Sting, Alien, Blade Runner, Primer
