    Tekkon Kinkreet

I can't wait to see this movie, I read the original Taiyo Matsumoto's comic ages ago and it was awesome! Will I be able to see this movie in UK? It's going to hit Japanese cinema screens in 26th. Plaid aka Blackdog is doing it's soundtrack. Woohoo!

Yeah, it's goin to be a big one. I think the original comic was written more than 12 years ago, but it was too ahead of time most people didn't quite understand/appreciate the intention of the auther. But after all these years, it slowly gained popularity and finally made into a film. It's been re-created by Studio 4°C, one of the best animation studio in Japan and director is Michael Arias, producer of Animatrix. So in short, watch it. This is a must see if you like Japanese animation. Many Japanese comic writers and animation creaters are influenced by Taiyo Matsumoto's work, especially this one. And again music is done by Plaid, best musician UK has ever produced!(in my opinion...)

....ok enough said I guess, now graveyard time

Hmm i'm not THAT much into anime, i like a few series like bo-bobo and 2x2 shinobuden but just for the comedy value. Still a good story is a good story and from an animation point of view, it does look beautiful.

Also, I was in a lecture 2 years ago at uni and the teacher played a piece of animation that had a song behind it, which I later found out was by Plaid, and i've never heard of them since, until you just said their name! The song was Itsu and I love it! (Assuming it's the same Plaid)
