    Poor Christmas TV

is it me or is the quality of TV - both terrestrial and Sky been really poor this year.

ITV 2 & 3 seem to be repeating the same films day in day out - mainly Apollo 13 and King Ralph, i think they've both been on 3 times in the last few days.

i know Christmas is about spending time with families and stuff but is some decent TV a little to much to ask for?

if i see noel edmonds answering that phone one more time i swear im going to scream

Couldn't agree with you more. Fortunately for me, my brother got the 13 disc Superman box set.

Yeah the programming has been really crap. What really really gets my goat is when they have an hour or two hour special of eastenders or any other soap for that matter showing on xmas eve/day/boxing day.

It really peeves me off because these programs are on 3 -5 times a week all year round; its it not enough? Would it hurt to not show this tripe just for a few days in a year? Its almost like they can't be arsed to think about what else to put on so they take the easy option.

It just does my nut in....end of rant.

There wasn't even Home alone on!
I agree, total garbage, hollyoaks omnibus?! WTF

I loath TV and try to stay away from it. ABC 1 shows home improvement though, always a laugh

The next 3 hours on BBC1 will be worth watching, Eastenders, Vicar of Dibley and Little Britain.

Apart from that, this has to be the worst xmas ever in terms of TV.

I have very bad memory of previous years, but i'm inclined to agree with the above comment tbh.
