Not sure what the song is called but it is sung by Kirsty Mc Coll and the Pogues. Great hearing it on the radio every year

Fairytale of New York is just about the only tolerable Christmas song that I can think of. Of course, that doesn't do it justice - not only is it tolerable, it's well worth listening to.
"Well, there was your Uncle Tiberius who died wrapped in cabbage leaves but we assumed that was a freak accident."

    I'm afraid it does.

Now cover yourself in tinsel and take it like a man.

    Anyway, thread topic

Fairytale of New York is probably the best Xmas song, but my actual favourite (even though it's cheesy) is "I wish it could be Christmas every day" by Wizzard. Bleedin' love that song. Really happy and fanchuffingtastic. I've been singing it in my head for weeks

Hmm... Quite like that 80s one (goes away and searches) ... "Christmas Wrapping". And the Eatha Kitt version of Santa Baby (so camp it always brings a smile to my face). Slade on the other hand makes me want to go postal

Well the Pogues track is a great tune. Also having a few listens to the 'traditional' or more long running christmas songs aren't too bad.. just gets a bit tedious when they are overplayed hah.

Also really like 'a spaceman came travelling'... and a Stevie Wonder track, just because well it's Stevie!
