Cheap picture frames

Got some decent frames before Xmas 14"x11" to put up some good photo's we've taken, and figured out that even cutting the mounting boards ourselves and buying all the bits and putting things together, you're still talking £25 all in. Picture frames are around £14, another £5 for glass and board, plus accessories, photo paper, ink etc. etc....

Anyone know of any decent places (wholesale?) to pick up decent dark wood frames, and all the rest of the junk needed to frame stuff?

Im sure Staples do stuff like that. I also saw some half decent wooden pic frames of all sizes in Tesco the other day.

Also check out Ikea, they have lots of great frames.

I've bought some relatively cheap frames from Hobbycraft in the past. Very good quality and they look good. See if there's a Hobbycraft near you.

I should have said that I was looking for 'inexpensive' frames, rather than 'cheap' ones (which most of the Ikea ones are unfortunately).

Taz ... they do great frames, but you're looking at £14 + for a 14"x11", and I want to frame about 15 sets, so things get expensive. I can't really see why one piece of bevelled wood, cut and stuck, costs £14 and up....

There's a Dunelms just opened near us, which is the shop you go to when you are too pikey for IKEA.

We bought 3x god-awful framed 13"x13" prints from them for £4 each, threw away the pictures and used the quite-nice pine frames for some paintings we bought on holiday

. So thats frames, glass, picture wire all for £4 (the paintings were already mounted).

For 15 sets, can you not make your own? Buy a router for £25 and some planed pine from Wickes or somewhere....not sure where you would get the glass from though but it should be cheap enough (it's a lot thinner than what could be used for glazing).
