Hi all,

First of all, I've read the rules in this forum as well as the forsale forum. It explicitly states 'technology' based items only, and I would think a watch falls under that category too. However I decided to first give eBay a try,



Simply put, if the mods don't mind, if any fellow members fancies this please let me know. It's a great watch and I would be happy to have a fellow member get it

Reason for sale: I've got around 5 watches now, and feel that I can do with out this one as I prefer my Seamaster.

That's a bit harsh don't you think? None of the Hexus mods on my MSN list are online atm, I'll check with them - if they say no I'll have them close this down :/

For what it's worth, I don't think watches were what was in mind when the "technology items" rule was written, and I had a hand in writing it. But .... nor can I see that there should be any real problem with a watch.

I would suggest that "If in doubt contact a sale moderator first" rather implies asking them by email or PM, though, rather than posting in GD about it though, even if it is a crafty way to advertise an Ebay auction . If that sort of query became commonplace, we'd have to wade through lists of queries to mods to find actual GD topics.

But, as I've not been on the mod team for a couple of years or more, it's just a personal opinion.

Oh sorry, I think I've been misunderstood. If someone on Hexus want's it, I'd simply cancel the eBay thing and list it in the FS section. Cheers for your post though.
