the only 'bad' thing about sending invites, it adds the user to your contacts list, so if its some random forum dude, you have to go into your contacts to remove them

Yeah, I could have sworn GMail had come out of BETA and was now allowing normal sign-ups. Looking at the GMail page I obviously must have been thinking of something else (MS Live or whatever it is/was probably).

Doesnt mean it has to be googlemail, you can still use the gmail.com bit
