    Talking F.A Cup 3rd round...

    Who went?

i went to leicester vs fulham, 2-2, one of the best matches i've seen in AGES. mainly because leicester played better than the opposing team for once! and also because it was a team in a higher league . And also the lights in the stand we were in blew 10 minutes before the end. 2-1 to fulham 90+1 minutes into the game, Danny Cadermateri equalilised for city...shame the match couldnt have gone on for longer...as before that goal the only people singing we're some over excited Stevenage Borough fans at the back of the stand...then the fianl whistle went...we were lead out of the ground by torchlight and i also got a leicester shirt

so...who else went to a game today?

yeh was the best goal of the match mate, other than that they were a very poor team, especially at the back

i think Jens Lehmann is there goalkeeping coach

they beat my second team (rushden) in round 2. i was there...i'm glad they got thumped by norwich

and yer...contrary to the leicester fulham match, which was very good, rushden vs tamworth...god that was almost painful to watch...almost as painful as watching leicesters defence torn apart to let in a soft goal today...

Sheffield Utd 0 : 3 Swansea. I'm so landed with that, hope they can carry that into the league and get promo now .

It must be hugely embarrassing for a premiership side to lose to a league one/two side particularly when they get thrashed. I love it

Sheff Utd were hardly trying though...

Bolton are a bunch of cheaters.

That Chelsea side was a bit OTT considering their opposition, they've played weaker starting 11s against top half Premiership teams.

Swansea capitalized on that. You can't blame them for that as your belittling /condescending tone would suggest. It SUTDs problem if they don't put in a respectable performance. A side with as many attacking options as Swansea will punish them, it doesn't matter if they are two leagues below them. Goal scorers are goal scores where ever they are particularly when the opportunity arises.

To be perfectly honest with you Swansea didn't play that well either. They might have played with more heart but I've seen them put in better performances than what they produced yesterday. Just for the record Swansea have a number of their top players out on injury/suspension as well as SUTD, so their achievement is even greater. Utd were outplayed its as simple as that. The fact remains that they were hammered by a team 2 leagues below them, and for a side in the premiership that gets beaten 3 nill by a side 2 leagues down its an embarrassment it doesn't matter what happens on the pitch its the final score that counts in a game like this.

Were man u not trying when Southend put them out of the league cup? Bare in mind man u did field a strong side if i recall. Its very convenient to say that a much higher side didn't try when they lose to a side in a lower division to them.

You'd think I'd just insulted your mam, not made a passing comment, christ

Helps when Neil Warnock said both BEFORE and after the match that he didn't care about the FA Cup, prefering to spend his time on their Premiership campaign and made changes to compliment that viewpoint. I didn't mention anything about the opposition, whether they'd been beaten by Swansea, Tamworth or Chelsea I'd still have made the same comment.

lol we batterd forrest 5-0 the other week they are going no where me thinks untill they get that midfield sorted. Good result to bounce back with tho but Chartlon are there for taking with anyone who puts some effort in. Went to Wolves VS Oldham, good game excellent atmosphere good football by both teams just about fair result tho Wolves probably should have done better with the chances they had. Only slight spoiler too many idiots on both sides looking for and finding trouble and Wolves police being a complete joke. Which is the best way to the train station one fan asked. he was told cover your shirt up and dont speak - its 2007 and still u have to watch where your going after the football

    Permanently confused
