Wow, those pictures are amazing, would make some good wallpapers, pitty the links to Flickr only have really low resolution images.

Brilliant pictures. We had an ice storm some years ago - nothing like the magnitude of the pictures of course - and it was a very odd experience. Everything seemed varnished (though from indoors it just looked wet) and when a friend visited we had to pull him up the path with brooms!![]()
LOL! To my lasting regret, no we haven't, alas!
We have a sloped drive which he managed to get his car onto but every time he tried to get through the gates on foot he just kept sliding backwards. Eventually we rescued him by crossing the lawn (nice 'n' crunchy!) and holding out two brooms to pull him onto the frozen grass.
Sadly, we've not had an ice storm since but the experience was interesting to say the least!![]()
