5-1 to Birmingham City, not the greatest result.

I expect Roeder will keep his job, BBC showed a "Newcastle Injured XI", and it was a really good team!

They have so many injuries at the moment its unreal!

Roeder's performed miracles. 8 of his first choice 11 have been injured, including the entire back 4 and his best striker. They've got a a winger playing right-back, and when down to 10 men tonight, at centre back. The fact they're not currently in a relegation dog-fight should all-but-guarantee him a long-term job (which doesn't happen in football, but you know what I mean)...

They were poor tonight, but their form of late has been exceptional - I believe they've outscored (points wise) both Chelsea and Man U in the last 8 games.

You have my sympathy. As an Everton fan, I remember the early 90s when County were in the 1st division, and when it took Hans Segers and a long range Barry Horne effort to keep us from disappearing through the relegation trapdoor..

Ah, the 1994 Segersgate game, complete with rumours of a large bag of cash in our dressing room.
