Didn't someone ask exactly the same think last year?
Well im going up a friends tonight who's a bit down, so im thinking of doing somthing for her to cheer her up a bit.
Did somthing for her a few years back when she was in a similar situation, but need to think of somthing different now.
Close mate, nothing else. Not my type and it would just be plain weird after knowing her since year 7 :\
Suggestions ?
Nip off to Bruge for a weekend? (probably expensive though, and would have to check with work, but that sort of effort is usually appreciated)
Otherwise, nite in, bottle of (decent) champagne, home cooked meal (if you can cook that is).
Should work
Agent, is she into any bands/groups? Nite out on the town to forget its Valentines?
Dave
with valentines day it really depends on what your woman likes to do. I've had gf's in the past who enjoy different things, one liked to be taken away for a few days and generally spoilt, one liked going for a nice meal, and a couple just like staying in and having a romantic night.

As far as chick flicks go, it's the ultimate feel-good film. Plus - the DVD extras include learning some dance steps! So if you're having a drink with her, you could both have a giggle shuffling about.
For a chap, it's still a very watchable film.. cringeworthy in parts, but watchable.
It has a wet t-shirt, I believe.
