    Fuji - excellent customer service...

    I have had my digital Fuji Finepix F700 camera for over 2 years now, and it recently went wrong, but was out of warranty.
    (It seemed there was some kind of light sensor issue, and all pictures were just black with a white line across when held to very bright light)

    On the off chance, I contacted Fuji Camera customer service and was told that it is a known fault with that model, and they gave me an address to send it to, and said that it was likely I could get it repaired free of charge.

    I sent it off on Saturday, and had it returned and in perfect working order on Wednesday morning!

    Amazing service eh?! I was dead impressed


    I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.

    i can say the same about fujistu computers really great customer service, pity that the laptop was crap amazing the amount of troubles I had during my 2 years warranty.

    I love my F11, its a great camera. The build quality seems alot higer than so many of the other cameras around the same price range.

    I recently sent off my AG Neovo LCD that was a couple of days over the warranty period. I phoned & explained the issue, they sent me a new monitor without question the next day and the delivery guy picked up the faulty one. Have to say I was impressed with that.

    AH but the thing is the F700 problem is a well known problem and many many people have been experiencing it over the last few years, and THAT is why I assume it was fixed out of warranty. I assume if your cam goes wrong out of warranty generally, you wouldn't get the same service. Maybe I'm wrong but I would assume so.
