    Google Docs and Spreadsheets

A friend and I are keeping each other motivated to lose weight by tracking our progress using a shared spreadsheet. He was emailing his figures weekly and I was uploading them to my webspace. A bit clunky I think you'll agree.

Been having a play with Google's new Docs and Spreadsheet function. I have to say I am very impressed. You can upload, share, collaborate, edit, print etc all online. http://docs.google.com/

It accepts excel formulae etc and whilst it can be a little slow to update (maybe 10 seconds to input some values and see your formulae update) I am totally won over by how well it works.

Had a quick play with the word processor and if I were still a student working on a group project I would be smacking my course mates around the head with it.

    Nice one Googlesens.

Google do loads of awesome services. They even do CVS/SVN, but the license agreements say things like "We own everything you put on our web servers" or something crazy like that.

Google have taken existing technology and created something amazing out of it though. All of their services are just absolutely awesome. Here's to praying they never dissolve
