anyone tried to get to a Verisign Secured site ( eg. https://www.paypal.com )

I think Verisign's CA is having some problems

It'll be on many of the sites that use Verisign as a 3rd party Certificate Authority.

yeah the *site* works, but not with a trusted certificate

edit: well firefox lets you access it, but IE7 throws up a "There is a problem with this website's security certificate." error...damn nanny browser

still overkill and most people i know would just take it as a normal error and not see that but this isn't a discussion as to why IE7 is horrible

out of interest it looks like this was resolved with windows update.

I saw the other night that a windows update pack included new Certificates.
