    All happened so quickly.

    My brother is running at 3dfx 5 5500 PCI card. it runs pretty much every game at the moment in 1024x800, with details on low. MOHAA = fine, HL = fine, BF1942 = fine, VC = fine (but things go side through.....:S)

    Its a damn good card

    That was a good read.

    I can remember paying £100.00 for a 3dfx Voodoo 3 2000 in Electronics Boutique (as it was) in Camden, and being really pleased with it. Quake 2 looked good

    Only finally sold it about 6 months ago.

    I actually still have a Voodoo 1 (complete with link cable & driver CD) here that I can't even give away.

    i don't see how it plays bf1942.....that needs t&l unit to run and the v5 does not have one.......
