At the moment it is possible to buy a palit 7300 graphics card for £29. Obviously, it's not that great, but if I have 4Gb of system RAM, how much worse is the TurboCache card than the one with onboard graphics?

I'm a number-cruncher, not a gamer - is it really that awful?
It's fine, as long as you will not be doing any 3D graphics.

If you were forced (probably under threat of torture/death) to pick a PCIe graphics card under £30 - what would you buy?
I'd save an extra tenner and get something off of ebay tbh :/
LOL - good try but it's a company purchase, so it has to be from somewhere that actually does warranties and stuff...
I think I'll just get the 7100 128Mb because I'm using the 8Mb on-board Intel Extreme Graphics at the moment and anything has to be an improvement (although it's quite quick for web browsing and stuff actually)
Get a 6500TC as it will do the job fine. The 7100GS is actually an improved 6200TC; the 6500TC is an improved 6200TC too!!!
