    Calibrating Samsung SM206BW

I received my SM206BW this morning and just my luck its the A Panel which I'm a bit disapointed wtih but hey, s**t happens.
But have been reading the posts on the 226BW and have noticed that with a little calibration the A Panel can work just as good as the S Panel.
The thing is I dont know what I'm doing and what to look for. So how do I go about optimizing my shiny new monitor for best results, oh and without paying for any programs.
    Cheers.

I've never heard of A panel and S panel for this recently released monitor - please explain

Otherwise doesn't the manual say something about some autotune type options?

The S panel is a Samsung panel and the A panel is an AOC or something like that.
Theres nothing in the manual about autotune.

Any way of telling which panel you might get? Also could you point to some resources explaining this issue?

I've just seen this monitor on Komplett (http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=331032), and it looks very nice. I was going to get the 205BW.

Have there been any reviews of this? I can't find any.

I got my monitor from Komplett and its just luck of the draw whether you get an A or S panel and unfortunately I got an A panel but I have read that with a bit of calibration with your monitor it'll look just fine.
Check this forum post out, its a bit long and its on the 226BW but they're both just the same monitor just ones 20" and the other 22. Link

Ordered one of these for myself the other night. Hoping it'll get here today at some point, although I fear I'll probably be waiting till Monday now.

Ah well, I've waited this long already, what's a few more days?!
