HIS X1300 IceQ Turbo 256MB DDR2 AGP

does anyone have one of these or something similar by his, as i had an x800 which went wrong so they sent this one, the x800 lit up by a blue led when you powered it from the psu but this new one doesnt and so im wondering if it works or if it is just my machine, but i had a sapphire card an 1300 and that worked fine but was noisy which is why i asked for it to be changed for an his card again only to find it kept rerstarting my machine when trying to run it and i have a 480 psu to run it also, so if anyone can help in anyway id like to hear from you

Hmm. PSUs normally don't light up... I assume your old one had LEDs in the fan?

The X1300 is eaten alive by any X800 I know of... you really should have pressed harder for an equal replacement if you RMA'd the X800.

Sorry, I can't help you with the more important issue. All I'll ask is 'which 480 PSU', as amps are more important than wattage, and wattage is more important than Qtec.

As pointed out above the x1300 is not what I would call an equivalent replacement so I'd push for something a lot better as you've effectively downgraded your GPU.

well before that i was recently using an invidia 5200 lol 128 and i was happy with that even, but why i got a new x1300 is because they didnt make the other card i had any more x700 or 800 cant remember now but it only had 128 meg on it so i was happy to get a replacement of a migh higer card and also i meant the lights that came on, on the graphics card lol, it lit up

and the psu i just took out was an enermax noise taker 370 watts which i really loved because it was so quiet and as the graphics card said needed 450 or more the xclio super quiet psu was the only one i could afford so gladly it isnt a quetek which ive always been weary of anyway, did i have to even change my old psu for a higher one just to use this new graphics cqard you think?

or was it good enough as another 2 people said the enermax would have been ok but just being 2 people wasnt really alot comeback on helping me so i put the 480 in what do you think?

Depends what else you have in your system really but I'm quite happily running my rig with an Enermax 435w PSU and am hoping that it will be enough when I move across to C2D.
