37"+ LCD display with VGA/DVI input and..

    Hello all!

We've got a MacPro outputting 1680x1050 to a 22" TFT, but I want that output to be split and displayed on a large LCD - anything over 37" would be acceptable.

Can anyone suggest a panel that would accept a DVI (or VGA at a push) input, and be capable of scaling a 1680x1050 input to its native (presumably lower) resolution?

    Thanks SO much in advance,
    Simon.

Yup, that was kinda the suggestion I was hoping for. I know Dell to a 37" LCD with DVI/VGA input, but I have no idea how good it is or if there's anything more appropriate.

We also want to run a composite source through it, which can be taken care of by a Composite>VGA converter - but I don't particularly want to have to spend megabucks on a scaler, hence the need for a panel which does scaling itself.

    Cheers so far,
    S.
