    3DNow?

    Hi,

I've recently taken delivery of a new PC, with dual core AMD.

By default the BIOS had 3DNow extensions turned off. Should this be on, or are they no longer worthwhile?

    David.

I think most software these days is SSE optimised, so with modern software I can't imagine it will make any difference. Perhaps older software will go faster, but then how fast do you want Quake 3 anyway?

I assume it won't cause a problem having it turned on?
