Display Options
OK peeps - here's a challenge for you. I'm in the market for a new monitor which should meet the following requirements:
1. 19-20" display, widescreen optional - I will have to change both GFX cards I suspect to get full benefit of it
2. Wall mountable, I want some desk real estate back!
3. Must be able to connect all these machines:
gaming pc (DVI)
music pc (VGA)
xbox 360 (...)
optional - laptops
So whats hot and not at the moment? Any links would be really appreciated as I have been looking at a whole bunch of monitors and can't decide! Budget of 300 GBP tops

the xbox wouldn't be HD though..chances are it would look a bit pants actually but this one has.
1x DVI
1x VGA
1x S-Video
1x Composite
Im sure you could wall mount it but I really wouldn't wall mount a monitor...reading off it will be a nightmare.
The 24" version adds a Component Input which would be good for the xbox but they run at least £400

Thanks for the quick reply! I had looked at Dell and would certainly consider extending the budget for the right thing. As you said for a day to day monitor being wall-mounted would be a nightmate, fortunately nothing really requires much text input! I was planning on putting on an adjustable mount - more money but worthy in the long run! Time to :juggle: those wants, needs and musts!

Darn! Just measured and looks like the 24" won't fit. Assuming I get a VGA cable for the 360 could I not use a KVM arrangement to switch between different sources going into the monitor?
