I'm guessing this is using the Nvidia TurboCache thingy, so more RAM is preferable. I'm looking specifically at the Abit NF-M2S.
But how would it perform with Vista?
Worth going dedicated video?

It depends on what you want to do, if you want anything heavily 3D then it wont cut the mustard, but for general 3D apps (Vista Aero, GoogleEarth, etc..) and old games it'll do fine.
It's about at the bottom end of integrated video (but probably better than Intel's offerings). Try for 6150 or, of course, AMD's new 690G boards.
If you want a separate board, avoid LE versions, then around 7300 area, passively cooled, is a bit better than int. video.
Peter.
Then it'll do fine.
It isn't the turbo cache with the onboard 6100/6150 graphics just to note; you set how much ram you want to give it in bios. As long as you have over 1 gig you won't notice it in 2d though.
