    nvidia gfx driver 94.24

    Hi,

I've downloaded 94.24_forceware_winxp_english_whql.exe which I thought was supposed to be signed as described on the nvidia page: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_94.24.html. Has anyone else found this to be the case or have I downloaded a dodgy file?
    The MD5 is 8AB9865D942B216679D6AB0C07434C3B
    Dxdiag display tab gives:

The file nv4_disp.dll is not digitally signed, which means that it has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). You may be able to get a WHQL logo'd driver from the hardware manufacturer.

I'm not sure about the signing, but it say's my GF4 MX isn't a suitable card for the driver. Think it might be a dud one...

I heard that the 94.24 drivers got re-released by Nvidia recently - could be a rumour, but make sure you've got the ones directly from NVidia's site, not a third party one. Even then if they have re-issued them it's possible they haven't been certified yet.
