Hi mate, welcome to the forum - oh, I see you've been registered a while!

I've got to say, I don't really understand the first paragraph of your post... sorry! And I don't think anyone can tell you if this monitor is worth the money since you haven't said how much you've seen it on sale for. If it was brand new for £5, probably yes it is!:mrgreen:

What I do know is that is a 16.2m colour monitor and if you're at all into photo editing or anything seriously graphical, 16.2m actually means 262,000 plus dithering and I (being a graphic designer) wouldn't touch it.

I'd also try to disregard the speakers and use your own if you have them already.

There's quite a lot you can learn about TFT monitors, I should know - it took me days to work out what to buy! I ended up with two Asus 20.1" PW201s and they seem to be very good - except that both of them are faulty so I've got to return them. Don't take this as too strong a sign of poor Asus workmanship though, since I've bought 2 motherboards and 1 graphics card from them previously and been happy. Anyway, if you want to know more about what you're buying, and without trying to make you leave Hexus, go take a look at forums.anandtech.com and there's an enormous and good "The LCD Thread" which will explain the different technologies. All TFT screens are not made the same!

Stick up a price and I'm sure people will give you their opinion on whether it's worth the money...

IMO, good for gaming, not so hot on Photo editing.

The Asus monitors seem to be alot pricier than there competitors. I seen a 19" one on scan for about 190. You could get alot more for your money!

Ops mybad iforgot to post price, well m getting it for just 115£ hows it :juggle: & hey i checked newegg reviews r pretty gud it work very well for almost everything like gaming n all other multimedia apps! wat u say? is thr ne other u recommend in 150£budget:surprised:
