    Opinions on this Viewsonic...?

    http://www.misco.co.uk/applications/...&sourceid=8003

What does anyone think? Looks very, very sexy design to me, but what about those USB/firewire ports....? Will they be useful for much? Also, what are viewsonic monitors like in general, e.g. quality, features, warranty support?

I'm not familiar with that model but Viewsonic monitors are normally built to a high quality.

    I have a VX-series one and it's a great monitor.

They also have one of the better policies on dead pixels.

It only has USB ports. They are as useful as any other USB port, it's just a powered USB hub in the base of the monitor. It will work the same as any other USB hub

I also have a viewsonic and can vouch for the high quality.

That particular model looks rather nice and I would be tempted if I owned an Ipod.

Also, you can never have too many usb ports.

Also has a 8in1 card reader as well as the US and a subwoofer

I've used a couple of Viewsonic TFT's and they are very nice, but that's no garranty on this model.
I don't know about dead pixels, but they are very good when it comes to returning dead monitors.

I have Viewsonic and they are a quality brand. But i have heard to steer clear on this model. There are much better tft's on the market. Go to trustedreviews.com and take a look.
