my x300 came, its only 3 inches tall and wont fit in the slots in the back of my case, nor will it fit in my pci-e port as the card is too long after the port.

surely this isnt a pci-e card it looks more like an agp but was listed as pci-e

another £20 down the drain sigh.

AGP is shorter than PCI-E, as theres less pins.

if its a half height card, has it come with a half height blanking plate on it??

there might be another blanking plate in the box which would make it fit a normal PC case

Sounds like you've got a low profile card to me. As MrP said, you might have 2 backing plates in the box, one for low profile, the other full height

64bit PCI-X X300?!?!? Okok.. piccy would be great to drown my ever increasing insanity..

it only has the one blanking plater so i have to run it without one....

edit: Apparently not, as PCI X300s appear not to exist.

its the proper card won it on ebay some guy selling 50 of them lol
