GFX upgrade from X800 GTO

Quick bit of advice needed from those in the know;

I currently have an X800 GTO (AGP type so not the faster GTO2 that was unlockable to massive performance boost). I am looking to upgrade for as little cash as possible and a torn between these two cards:

I am leaning towards the Nvidia card due to the price being a steal. The card will sit in the PCI-e slot in my ASROCK-S939 Dual SATA mobo which also a hosts a 3800+ (2.4Ghz, 512k) Athlon 64. I have also ordered one of the cheap dual core S939's from ocuk (gulp) which I hope to o'c a little.

I will be wanting to play recent games but not essential to be able to play DX10 features if it means sacrificing performance generally.

Recommendations?
