    Looking for a new monitor

I am after a new monitor as i have recently bought an xbox 360, also i'm fed up with my 17" crt monitor taking up so much room on the desk. I have set myself a budget of £450, and hopefully i will be able to find something that gives me HD.

The problem i have been having is whether or not i should get a cheap HDTV for around £250 and then a monitor for £200. On the other hand i could get a 24" monitor. I have been told you can't notice the difference between 720 and 1080 and that not many games for the 360 support 1080.

Can anyone give me some advice on what to do? Also which monitor i should buy for my budget?

    Thanks, hope you can help

For that budget, go to Oyyy dot com and find the BenQ FP241W which they are currently selling at £441 inc VAT with free delivery. It's a fantastic monitor and better than the Dell you see a lot of people mention. It will also accept HD and has an HDMI port.

    Cheers,
