    Help Me guys

Im currently in the market for a new graphics card, but seemingly the 8600's are so underpowered that i think its not worth investing money on them. Ive only got a budget of £80 and i think at this rate i would be getting a dx9 card instead. Should I go for dx10 cards? Or put my trust on the dx9 last gen cards? I am hoping to keep one that would last me for another year.

At this point you can get dx9 cards that do dx9 much better than the 8600 etc. The mid range dx10 cards certainly wont be able to do any justice to dx10 either! So a dx9 card is the way forward. I am not sure which one people will suggest.
    Not around too often!

do you think the reason 7900gs is great because it can overclock like mad unlike the x1950pro?
