    Recommend me a 22" monitor?

    Hi,

    So my needs are:

Needs to be 22" for gaming/general PC browsing/Playstation 2 - YES TWO not THREE cus im not £££! AND it is required to be used as a TV connected to a FREEVIEW box.... so its got quite a lot to handle.

Oh yea... and i would like it to be able to handle high definition too
Although i am quite confused with this HD stuff.... HDMI.... HDCP I suppose HDCP is the better one - but if you have HDMI then you need an adapter or something...?

The models i have been lookin at are the
    LG M228WA http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=625338
Samsung SyncMaster SM226BW 22" LCD Flat Panel Monitor http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/333634...searchsource=0

Errrr thats about it really. Open to suggestions from other models - but out of the above two which would you pick?

    Budget.... £240 EX VAT

    Thanks guys

I'm pretty sure the Samsung 226BW won't hook up to a freeview box, take a look at this:

    - 22" LG 22LS4R ~ £239.99

    Fits the bill perfectly.

But i guess the M228WA would be better as i think it has a lower response time?

You'd be hard pressed to notice a difference between a 5ms and 2ms monitor. Anything 8ms or below would do fine.
