    dual/quad VESA desk stands

    I'm looking for a pair of 2-monitor desk stands to hold my 4 LCDs.

    Just as an example of the sort of thing I'm looking for, this is the Ergotron DS100 dual monitor stand;

    But this comes in at just shy of £100, which means only small change from £200 for a pair of them. A guy on another forum I visit got a half-decent steel 2-monitor stand for $18 Stateside, so I'm looking for something nearer those prices over here in the UK.

    Ideally, I want something with a flat base that sits on the table surface, not a clamp that goes on the back of the table - I'm going to be in & out of different university accomodation for at least the next 4 years & can never be sure whether the desk I get in my crummy room will have room on the back to screw a clamp (i.e. I can't clamp anything to the back of the table if the table is built against the wall like a shelf).

    Also, each stand will have non-matching LCDs on them. One will have a pair of 15"s, but the other will have a 15" & a 17", so something which looks like it has a bit of stability to it would be great.

    I've tried all my usual e-tailers, Froogle, etc. but haven't come up with anything - any help?

    Well they're hooked up to 3 different computers, not all on the same computer. It comes in very handy when debugging code & the such.
