I've got this panel - trying to work out what to put on the desk next to it - dual 30" Panels is too much so I want something sensible to sit next to it....2nd screen etc
I want it to match as much as possible![]()

I was thinking a Dell 21" or something - thing is I always have Outlook, MSN and Firefox running whatever I am doing they are open
dell 20, dell 24 maybe ?
Is the scaling going to be right?
Perhaps one of the smaller Dells which can spin through 90 degrees into portrait aspect would then be about the same height as the 3007 and also take up less desktop real estate.
I've also got my eye on a 3007, primarily for HD video editing. I was going to drive it with an HD2900XT until I discovered they run mad hot so wouldn't sit too comfortably in a HTPC case alongside a Q6600. Looks like I will settle for a 640Mb 8800GTS although I believe, unlike the XT, these aren't HDCP compliant over dual link so DRM'd HD films are displayed at 1280 x 800. However I think there is now DVD player software that can strip out the DRM and release the full HD goodness. Not wanting to hijack the thread, but if anybody can confirm and expand on this please do let me know.
Apparently, "Do whatever you like" should NOT be considered authorisation to build my uber rig!
The 20" dells are the same height when vertical as the 30" sat horizontally soooo;

That was going to be my suggestion, 20" Dells in portrait mode - perfect for coding, web/email etc, where length is more important than width...
Perfect, now - cheapest place for an HC 07?
