pc to tv, fx go5700, any advice please help!!!!

hi, this is my problem.
i have a sony vaio pc (vgc-v2m)which is a compact pc like a i mac ect. it has a geforce fx go 5700 graphics card.
connections i have on it , svhs, video and audio L+R (these are input only)
a free cat 5, optical out, line in, and also a free pc card slot.

I want to connect this to my plasma to watch films play games and use it as a second monitor

connections my tv has, vga(d-sub 15 pin) rgb, component, svhs, 2x scart, audio on, and 2 hdmi,

( my nveiw laptop display, (right click on desktop) dosn't have a wizzard come up to set up mutilple display or any options to extend my desktop or mirror.
ive have tried svhs lead to a scart, nothing happened, blank screen on my tv, i have also tried a key that some one suggested will work (aver media keylite)
but this connected via vga and i dont have a vga output. the only way i can think about doing it is

possibly using a usb to vga converter (dual display adapter)
or possibly a pc card with a vga output,tv out ect????
and and it wouldn't let me post url's in :(sorry im new

and idea's, suggestions or help on anything willl be greatly appreciated.
