Yeah i thought that. Tis an 80mm fan if that puts it more into perspective
The cooler on the 8800 is pretty good to start with. The trick is to have something cooling the back of the card I've found, 120mm sidepanel fan or something similar. Not sure how comfortable you are with a dremel, if that's not an option, it's often worth just remounting the original cooler with AS5.
I may do this regardless, i have havent been overly happy with this case from day 1 so may just save up and get myself a decent case. I still would like an aftermarket cooler for the card regardless though so i may wait around see how the new accelero and DuOrb work out.Quote:

The thermaltake cooler for this card sucks, mine worked much worse than the stock cooling! Avoid!

Disappointing performance I'd say.
