Sony GDM-FW900 Flat Widescreen 24" FD Trinitron CRT Monitor

I've been on a hunt for the best monitor for watching movies. I'm currently looking at CRT models or Apple direction.

But anyway, is the Sony FW900 24" Trinitron a legit monitor for watching movies? I heard CRT's are still THE best for movies, and this appears to be the best CRT (although it's not even produced anymore, it's still available on different sites).

I also heard that Apple's monitors are up there. Although from the research I did, the response time & contrast ratio suffers in Apple's models. I could be wrong though.

Just hoping to get some feedback and/or suggestions on monitors for watching movies (and also some info on these models in particular).

Sony GDM-FW900 IS imo the best monitor you can get.

Widdles from a great height over any TFT. Only thing it loses on is physical size and weight, but as you're not normally moving the screens around that often, what does it matter. :D
