Have just been told By Mesh that they are upgrading my graphics cards to 7900GS in SLI mode,does anyone know what sort of performance this is going to give compared against cards out at the moment!:mrgreen:

i dont think the difference will have your jaw dropping but you will see a health gain of FPS :)
Well I get 47fps on HardwareOC's Prey benchmark and that's with a single 7900GS on max settings at 1280x1024 :)
The card is XFX's Overclocked version, Mem 1600 MHz, GPU 600 MHz. However my ASRock motherboard is is a hybred pci-e slot (only x8 if I remember correctly not the full x16 of standard PCI-e)
Check my specs for the rest of the details (XP pro is my OS)
The boost given by Sli is seen more by an improvement in minimum frames per second rather than maximum FPS, making games run smoother and less laggy, at least that's what I my experience has been with my Sli rig which has a pair of 7900GT's.
how come they are upgrading it? was there a fault or are u paying for 2?
