    7900gs temps.

    I dont know much about temps, I've 7900gs, I've fitted a vc3600 cooler from jetart, and I'm not oc'ing.

I get 48c idle, thats in my warmish UK summer time room, and a few hours of bf2 see's it hit maybe 65c tops.

    Are they ok temps?

Yeah, that's pretty normalish temperature for 7 series cards. Nothing to worry about.

    Re: 7900gs temps.

Thanks for the replys, the 7900gs seems like a warm card, especially some of the smaller chips on the back, one great thing about this cooler though is that its dropped my overall system temps as its an exhaust cooler, before it was just a standard heatsink and fan, so was just leaving the hot air in the case, and I could feel warm air being exhausted by my rear 120mm, now the air coming out of there is pretty much as cool as whats going in, so I may dispense with the exhaust 120mm altogether now, or maybe turn it around.

    Re: 7900gs temps.

My xfx 7900GS xxx (600mhz GPU, 1.6Ghz memory) runs at 50c idel, all the high series end cards seem to run quite hot.
And it's got a pritty pants cooler
