I dont know much ( anything ) about electrical things... but is it possible some kind of earthing feedback causing problems? there has to be a reason why it won't work with the antec!
Me neither! The 1000W Antec should be ample. I bought it from Kustom, so there shouldn't be a problem RMA'ing it.

Unfortunately, I can't think of any reason why it won't work with my PSU either - I can't think of any good electrical reason (and that's after 4 years of electronics at uni!). It really has me stumped, but all I can say is it's currently running 3DMark06 right now and looks like it will rack up a good score with my oc'ed Q6600.

    Cheers,

I guess you'd better just mod the second PSU into the case

I put the original 550W PSU in instead of the 1000W Antec and just racked up a score of 12151 3D Marks, which seems fairly respectable

You know what the real irony is? The PSU that works is a 550W Antec Neo!

Thanks for all the help guys, hopefully what I have found and posted might help others in the future.

    Cheers,
    Stephen

send that 1KW back and get a 750 Watt enermex or somthing as that would be ample and more efficient
