    nVidia Forceware 163.71

Saw these new drivers.... tried them.... better frame rates but HUGH jaggies, horrible, gone back to 162.18.

Come on nVidia ... get out some good, fast, reliable, high quality drivers for my 8800GTX! An update is supposed to be an improvement!

    Re: nVidia Forceware 163.71

Glad it wasn't just me then! I installed them yesterday and tried a few of my recent games with them hoping for a speed increase. On the first game (Tiger Woods 08) all of the colours were displayed totally wrong and there were jaggies flying about everywhere!! Tried uninstalling and reinstalling them and used driver cleaner etc but everytime the same thing would happen. Only way I managed to fix it was by re-installing the previous v162.18 drivers. Get yer finger out Nvidia and come up with some decent drivers already!!

Guess I'll wait for the next ones. The multi monitor problem with QW:ET is really annoying though

Well these are so bad (left the antialiasing controls off.....) that hopefully we won't have to wait long. I tried to post my findings to nVidia.... but gave up trying to fathom out how.

Yup - tried all sorts of settings. This problem (no AA) is being reported all over. There is the AS settiings, but no option to set AA - gone completely. Re-installed 162.18 and AA setting is back.

Hmmmm... I've installed them and have possibly seen a slight increase in perfomance (or maybe I'm imagining it) but there have been no problems with AA for me....
