22" Monitor with component video input?

Are there any 22" monitors that have component video inputs (as well as DVI)? I know there are a couple of 24" models (Dell, Hyundai), but I'm struggling to find a smaller model.

    Thanks.

I've never seen a 22" with component input. 24" Dell is your best bet, but will be a fair leap in price over a 22".

A Hauppauge WinTV HVR-150 allows composite audio and video capturing/S-Video with hardware MPEG-2 encoding, as well as 1 DVB-T/radio tuners for a little over 50 or 60 quid. Needless to say, that opens up a lot more options for you and will cost a less money in all likelyhood.

That is one way of doing it but using this method means that the PC will always have to be on to use the features.

I'll be buying the LG monitor very soon as it looks like a great bit of kit for the price.

How often do you have the PC off?.. And that method allows you to do a lot more than a monitor input will let you.

Quite often now I have the choice. I used to go via TV card but since i got my freeview/dvd recorder i'm quite happy to just watch that without the pc on

What if he wants to use a console in HD? I find that every tv card i have used give you a delay wereas the monitor would act as a tv.

Thus why I suggested a card with a HARDWARE MPEG2 ENCODER.

Is the DVI input HDCP compliant? What resolutions do the component inputs accept - 720p, 1080i, 1080p?

    Thanks.

I have this monitor but at the time Play didn't have it. Works a treat to be honest. Have my Wii, Freeview and PC all connected. Only had one fault which seems to be an odd issue where the screen would turn off but I have called LG and am arranging for a pickup next week to take care of this.

A plus thought would have been to have PIP.

Re: 22" Monitor with component video input?

I wouldn't get a 22" - never seen one which isn't a cheap (and low colour depth) TN panel.

I have 2 Asus PW201s, they're 20.1" 1680x1050 P-MVA screens with component, DVI, VGA, composite, s-video, audio (terrible speakers though as expected), 3 USB ports, and they tilt, swivel and pivot into portrait too. Love 'em.

I like the look of that one - do you know if will accept 1080i via the component inputs?
