    nvidia purevideo HD

Do I have to have pure video HD to play HDCP content on my comp with 8800gts?
Are there any free tools that do the same thing.

    Re: nvidia purevideo HD

8800 cards have very limited Pure Video support. All you should need to get whatever you can out it though, is a driver set for your version of Windows that supports PureVideo HD, and a software player that supports it - such as Power DVD 7 Ultra.

just use any dvd software player that supports purevideo

8800gts is not good for video playback so there will be a higher load on your CPU (around 30-40% while playing)
