Do they still heat up your GPU and limit the O/C of the card?, I had that problem with 3.8, 3.9 and 3.10 :(
The drivers make your card work harder hense more heat (stop complaining ;)). Havent heard any difference in oc'ing with the newer versions either?
ill have to give it a go when I get my watercooling back on this card :)
According to the docs, the new changes re clock and temperature only apply to the 9600/9800 XT's?
Anyway, drivers are fine here. Played Halo again, still silky smooth and a joy to play like with the 3.10's :)
Damnit, and I only just updated to the 3.10's. Oh well gives me something else to play with :p

glad in not on dial up.
I thought that the drivers improved the algorithms allowing it to process more.. but not actualy making it process more.. if you get what i mean...Quote:

there's a CoD ATi fix available for download. It gives you a really weird driver version but it stops the game locking up :)
Only just moved up to the 3.10's here :/
may upgrade to em later this week as i don't fancy restarting my rig yet
