8800GT Day!

After playing the Crysis demo and hearing my 7900GT weep I figured it was time for a GPU upgrade and what a great time for the 8800GT to appear.

So I bit the bullet and ordered a pair :mrgreen:

I can't think of the last time I was excited about PC gaming, with the 8800 out today and Crysis, Unreal Tournament 3, Hellgate: London and Call of Duty 4 all within four weeks of each other November is going to be one awesome month for us PC gamers.

Anyone else taking the jump to the 8800GT?

well i WAS going to, but now that everyone's artificially inflating the price to feed there fat faces at the expense of the consumer NO, i shall wait

Yep I'm going to wait a bit. Prices are inflated. I'd like to see some more benches and how the GT stacks against the revised GTS.

I will go for one too, but just planning to wait a month to see what happens with the price and hopefully some partners will have on out with a 2 slot cooler version.

After seeing the grossly inflated prices (<3 ripoff Britan/Ireland) I'm going to wait as well.
