    dell 2407

    How would i know which version a dell is, a mate is selling a dell 2407wfp

    says dell 2407wfpb rev a00 and dated oct 07

    There is a stick on the back that tells you the revision number , for it to be oct 07 it really should be an A04 not a A00 though.

    sounds like its one of the new HCs like Buff said...there is no way it can say Oct 07 and be a older 2407. You could try looking on the on screen menu. Turn it off...then turn it on again while holding + and the menu button and keep holding for 5 seconds. Then press - and it gives you lots of service information.

    buff stop spamming the hexus forums , why is it that in general dell pc's suck, yet they make some of the best monitors ?

    Cos they can't tell you that a 512mb graphics card is twice as fast as a 256 one when it comes to screens. I've got a 2407wfp A04 myself and I'm considering a second, but I'd never buy a dell PC, I suppose they're aiming for the enthusiast more with these screens.
