Apparently Hanns-G make all the screen for some VERY big companies but occassionally they released some onto the market themselves.
Look here: Amazon.co.uk: Hanns G HW191D 19"LCD Silver/Black DVI MM: Electronics & Photo: HANNSPREE
Its £119 now dleivered. ALL the reviews are also good. I looked around at the LG's and Daewoo's at the similar price point but this was by far the best value in my mind.
I`ll second that i`ve had 3 of these widesceen monitors all been great and i`m still using one now with DVI and wall mounted it looks very nice, and a good price to.
I agree, i got a HW191D for my boss and not only is he chuffed with it but on the occasions i've used it i thought it was really good !
hmm.....thats good news.
Cos they have a few very nice wide screens

We bought them and sold them to many customers and they were great, and were much more reliable than DGM that were around the same price
We have a HW191D for one of the work computers and it is excellent for the price!
I would also try to avoid TN type displays if you can. PVA, MVA and especially S-IPS panels are better.
Got several at work and for the price, they're excellent monitors.
I've got the 194D, which isn't widescreen, but is equally solid and gives a good picture. The only problem was getting a DVI cable where the end would fit in the gap between the DVI port and the moulding below it...

ok...looking very positive

Although I've not seen one in the flesh I do quite like the look of the 19" Hannspree New York. Scan have them for £108
