Graphics card help
I am in the process of buying the bits for my new PC (http://forums.hexus.net/hexus-hardwa...ming-pc-3.html)
However the graphics card i was going to buy, seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth, no trace of it on Scan.Co.Uk
it was
320MB EVGA 8800GTS, PCI-E (x16), Mem 1600MHz, GPU 500MHz, 96 Streams, 2x Dual Link DVI-I/HDTV £153.18 £179.99
Does any one know of a very similar card for the same price?
Would anyone recommend buying this one

Re: Graphics card help
At the moement Don't, new improved 8800gts are comming out soon and 8800GT currently beats the 8800gts 320mb and is cheaper (although it's hard to get hold of one atm, might not be able to for a week or more due to shortages)
That said if you don't mind 2nd hand/flebay then a 8800gts is still a good option as long as it's under £120ish

Think im going to wait for the 8800GT 512MB to come back into stock, seems to be the best for the price im aiming for

Re: Graphics card help
DX9 cards are a steal at the mo.
If you buy a high end DX9 card hold out for a year wait for the 8series to come down.
ATI x1950xtx is superb at 110 pound.
