So I bought the HD2600 XT but...

I am having problems with it!!!!

I have been trying to set it up so that it works via the supplied ATI DVI-HDMI dongle, then using an HDMI cable into my Samsung 26" TV. The problem is that using this method the display seems blurred and the colours are too vibrant and appear to blead together. A lot of the text onscreen when browsing is almost illegible at times.

However, after a lot of fiddling about I have managed to enable the DVI-VGA socket and have this also outputting to the same Samsung 26" TV as a clone of the HDMI settings and it looks 100 times better. Everything is really sharp and clear.

Is this to be expected if I try to use the HDMI option or are there some settings/drivers/codecs that I would need to install to improve the display quality? Is there any difference expected between the two different display types?
