In the next few months i'll be replacing my trusty old Hyundai L90D+ 19" monitor. Now, there's nothing wrong with the monitor itself but its default resolution of 1290x1024 will not do justice to my new PC. I've got an 8800GT graphics card and will be playing the odd game but mainly surfing, emails and a bit of Word/Excel stuff.
So, which monitors should I put on my shortlist that will give me the big WOW factor after the Hyuandai L90D+ 19" screen? Budget is up to £500.
Well for that cash you could get one of the 24" Dells, although personally I'd go with one of the 22" as the slightly lower res maybe better for the FPS on new games.
EDIT: might be an idea to pop into pcworld or simular, not to buy but just look at the monitors in the flesh to see for your self ;)
Suggest dell 2407wfp-hc for that budget or samsung 275t if you can stretch a little further. :) I have the 275t and it's definitely wow. :)
I have a 2407 and love it, 1900x1200 res is very nice indeed. I thought a 24" might be a little to big on my desk but it's fine, I've even been thinking about upgrading to a 2707 :)
