right its about my benq fp91g+ its 19" 1280x1024
what i wanna know is if i get a vga adaptor for my xbox 360 will this do HD for me at any level
720p HD is at a res of 1280x720, so that monitor should be ok to run at that, but with black bars at the top and bottom, since it's a widescreen resolution. Although, I have no experience with running an XBox 360 through a monitor...
My XB0x 360 conencted to the dell 2407 using the VGA adapted and it gives me full HD. The quality is very good - better than the component.
So you dont need an HDMI adapter ....

I looked into hooking my PS2 up to a TFT a while ago and was met with numerous people telling me it was a terrible idea due to the adapters sucking and the ones that didn't costing £100+, I'm guessing it's different with a 360?
[EDIT: Sorry to hijack Dan, but if this isn't the case then could someone please direct me to a working solution - I'd love you forever.]
PlayStation 2 Component Video Cable
I wanna know how to do this now.
EDIT: DIY Component to VGA Adapter![]()
I got excited for am inute that I could hookup my PS2 to my 22" LCD and play in widescreen, but it doesn't look possible....Ah well, I have it hooked up to a 32" fullscreen old school TV that looks awesome (years of painstakingly tweaking display settings...).
